Chiropractic Coaching: How We Make The Invisible Visible For Your Practice
Hello everybody and welcome to Thrive in Five. I’m Dr. Dennis Perman and I’ll be your chiropractic coach for today. This is a very important Thrive in Five session because we’re going to be talking about how to make the invisible visible for your practice. What an odd phrase, make the invisible visible.
What does that even mean? Well, we know that people never do what’s invisible to them. because if they can’t see the outcome, there’s no reason for them to follow through. So this is one of the reasons why people don’t exercise. I mean, is there anybody who doesn’t know that it’s important to exercise? Of course they know.
But because the end product of them being fit and healthy is invisible to them, they’re not motivated to take action. This is true in so many aspects of our lives planning for retirement, for example, most people are in the thick of working, they can’t see the outcome of their retirement plans. It’s too far in the distance and it’s not clear for them until they start to [00:01:00] understand what their retirement will look like.
In other words, making it visible, there’s really nothing motivating them to pursue it. And in your case. A practicing chiropractor, a typical patient cannot see the end product of your program of care. In fact, this is one of the biggest challenges we have as chiropractors, that patients typically come in for relief.
They come in because they have a painful problem they want us to deal with. And the fact is we do that better than just about everybody. And then the patient is confused when we’re unhappy, when they want to discontinue care, when they feel better. You see, wellness and the ultimate outcome of a program of chiropractic care is invisible to them.
And part of our job is to make it visible. Now there are also problems inside your practice that are invisible to you that you don’t necessarily see and therefore you may not know how to fix them. You may not see that patients miss appointments. You may not [00:02:00] see that some people drop out of care before they’re supposed to.
You may not see a variety of different things in your practice because they’re invisible to you. And this is one of the reasons why we do the coaching work that we do here at the Master’s Circle Global. We’ve been helping doctors like you by making what’s invisible visible so that you can address them.
Once these issues become visible, your practice will grow better than ever before. Now, the problem is these issues are invisible to you. And that’s one of the reasons why we do things like keeping statistics, like visiting with you and coaching on a regular basis. We need to first understand what is invisible to you.
And then we have to figure out a strategy to make it visible for you. Once these issues become visible. your practice will take off. Now, if you’re, if these things are invisible to you, then they’re also invisible to your staff and finding a way to make these [00:03:00] issues visible to them. This is a big piece of you running the practice the way you want it to run, because if they’re not aware of the issues, then how can they respond?
How can they do anything about it? So just like you want your patients to understand what’s going on in their program of care, you also want your staff to understand what’s invisible to them. So that way. It can be it can be fruitful. It can be productive. You can handle the issues, but until you make them visible, it’s really difficult to do so.
So how do we make these? Invisibility is visible to you? Well, we have a sequence of concepts that we teach that will help you to understand everything you need to know in order to make the invisible visible for your patients, for your staff, and for yourself. The six essentials, which you’ve heard us talking about for months and months, this is one of the critical keys that you can use in order to make the invisible visible.
If you see where there is friction in the [00:04:00] practice, then you can reduce or eliminate it. If you understand the concept of passion branding, then you can develop passion around your brand and help make it visible to people. If you need to become the COO of your business or hire us to help you train yourself or to act as your COO, well, the various functions that a COO does are completely invisible to you until you pay attention to them, until you notice them.
So you see, this is a methodology that can help you to identify every sticking point that you have in your practice. It can help you set better fee policies. It can help you learn to persuade people. And almost most importantly, it will help you learn to get inside the head of the decision maker. Now, once you have understood these.
