Welcome to this Week’s Thrive in Five. I’m Dr. Bob Hoffman for The Masters Circle Global where legends are made and legendary practices are built through chiropractic coaching. Today I want to discuss what is a passion brand and why you should care. Today’s most successful business model is based primarily on six essential concepts, and yet 99% of our profession is unaware of any of these or how they support or more likely interfere with your ability to run and grow your practice. 

To remind you, the six essentials are friction pricing, clinic operations, becoming a passion brand persuasion, and finally getting inside the head of the decision maker. Today we’re gonna discuss what is a passion brand and why you should care. Let’s start with this simple but important question. What do Apple, Tesla, Starbucks, and Amazon all have in common? Well, they’re all passion brands, and currently there are no passion brands in healthcare, and this is a golden opportunity for you and for chiropractic and any wellness provider that we have never seen before.

So please listen carefully. Passion brands, recognize your individuality and continuously customize and create lifelong and sometimes generational love affairs with their patients. Passion brands attract and invigorate passionate people because their customers, clients, or patients find their passion in what you do, who you are, and how you deliver your service. Passion brands continue to evolve, adapt, and refine their business model as well as their delivery model. Their innovators, as they continue to learn, improve and grow, they stay committed to constant never-ending improvement. A passion brand is a brand you form a personal attachment to. They become part of your identity. Passion brands cause you to modify or change your habits, your behavior, your understanding, and maybe even your standards. Passion brands create such a connection with you and you with them that advocates spontaneously speak of them, sharing their enthusiasm for them with their friends, family, and colleagues.

Passion brands deliver an emotional benefit and an emotional connection. They want to share that feeling, that emotion with others because they want them to benefit just like they have benefited. In this case, they want them to regain their health and vitality just like they did in your practice. Their life is better and they want others to have their life improve as well because they’re raving fans. So I ask you, what would your practice be like if all of your patients all day long were raving fans that they trusted you, believed in you, and respected you? Remember that you want your patients to find their passion in what you do, in who you are and how you live your life. When your patient finds their passion in you and your practice, trust me, they will engage, commit, and be fully compliant. As the cliche goes, they will stay, pay and refer.

And yes, we want thousands of patients just like that. This is what will make you a passion brand, and that’s why becoming a passion brand is so important and should be in your awareness, consciousness, and intentionality. Some additional examples of passion brands that you are familiar with might be Disney, Harley Davidson, Trader Joe’s, Lego, Netflix, Nike, Lululemon, and Uber. Just to mention a few. The odds are overwhelming that you never heard of a passion brand before or never considered becoming one or did know how to get there. Another example of the benefits and reasons why it’s so important to have a COO, a Chief operating officer. And I’m certain that if you are honest with yourself, you know I’m talking about you, the most important question is this. Is it possible for you to succeed or to express your level of potential or to feel the joy and fulfillment you are meant to feel every single day?
