Why The Stimpod 460 is The Must-Have Device for Reducing Neuropathy Pain
Hello, everybody. This is Dr. Bob Hoffman for The Masters Circle Global, and today we get to meet another one of our strategic alliances, our gold sponsors, a dear friend who has an amazing product that I guarantee 98 percent of you never heard of, and 100 percent of you need and would benefit from. I got to tell you that every single year at SuperConference, This gentleman’s booth is always buzzing, busy, productive.
There’s always a group of doctors around it, and they’re always leaving, uh, with smiles on their face and ways to get even better clinical results. Stan, always a pleasure, my friend. Thanks, Bob. It’s, you know, I do a lot of interviews. I always love the time that we’re able to spend together because you’re one of those unique people who you really get it.
I mean, you understand. Who your audience is and you understand that, you know, communication is really the name of the game because you can have the best information, but if you can’t articulate it to somebody or you put a different spin on it doesn’t work. So, yeah, you really understand your audience and I appreciate the time.
Well, it takes one to know one, Stan, because you get it also. You know, in all the years we’ve worked together, all the super conferences and other Masters Circle seminars you’ve attended, you keep evolving and, um, upgrading what you’re doing. Uh, that’s why there’s always a crowd around your booth and you’re always doing so well with your sales.
I got to tell you, I personally had never heard of STIMPOD and, um, at SuperConference last year was when it was, uh, debuted for my doctors. And there was always a packed crowd. I saw people using it, learning how to use it, understanding why to use it. I don’t know the number. The number is not even that important.
But I, I’ve got to have spoken to at least one to two dozen members who purchased it. They’re using it all the time in their office. They’re getting amazing clinical results. And to me, that, that’s always the gateway. That’s always the starting point, Stan. I don’t care how great a product is, if the patients aren’t getting consistent, predictable, excellent clinical results, uh, there’s really not much more to talk about.
But in this case, they have gotten predictable, amazing clinical results. So can you tell the people who are watching and listening to this, Tell us about StemPod. What is it? Yeah, so the nice part about Stimpod and you kind of, you took my punchline because I really like to say that if you really deal with improving outcomes for your patients, naturally you’re going to improve income for your practice, but it really all starts being patient concentric.
You want to make sure that you improve those outcomes because the best marketing in the world is not what you’re doing online. It’s not what you’re doing in print. It’s really the successful word of mouth from a patient who you really helped. And that is what Stimpod does. This is Stimpod. It’s a little handheld device.
It’s actually utilizing pulsed RF Energy and the whole backstory. This is a company based in South Africa, who about 10 years ago figured out a technology for being able to locate and monitor nerves. And to this day, train of four is used in every O. R. in existence. And that’s what the original technology did.
It helped doctors and anesthesiologists locate a specific nerve and monitor the nerve. About five years ago, they got FDA approval to actually be able to treat the nerve. So now, in essence, what Stimpod does is we locate the indicated nerve depending what it is we’re trying to treat and we are actually putting pulsed RF energy into that nerve and we are going to reset either function of that nerve or in the case of no susceptive pain we literally are going to shut off that nerve.
A lot of people initially will say well Is it a TENS device? No, it’s not a TENS device. TENS devices use what’s called gait theory, in essence, to try to confuse a nerve. And you put on, you know, the TENS device for 30 minutes or 45 minutes, and in a lot of cases, it will help for those 30 or 45 minutes.
You turn off the TENS device and the pain is still there. We literally are helping to reset that nerve. A doctor I’ve been working with recently, I was introduced to him, He’s in his mid 70s. He’s in Toronto. He’s an MD. Okay, so a classically trained MD. He’s also a world renowned acupuncturist. He heard about StemPod about six months ago, and according to him, the words out of his mouth, he said, this has totally changed the way that I practice.
And he’s kind of the classic blend of western medicine and eastern medicine. And part of his philosophy is, you know, so much time is spent in classical western medicine saying things like, well, what did the MRI show? What did you see in the films? What did it show in the CT? He said, a lot of times the problem that we’re dealing with is software.
It’s not hardware. He said a lot of times it’s a nerve issue. We’re not going to see that in the films. And so another great analogy he gave me, he said, when you think about the nervous system, think about the subway system in New York City. He said, as long as you get on the right train, it doesn’t matter which stop you get on.
So a lot of times if we’re treating, for instance, diabetic peripheral neuropathy, there’s three nerves that we treat. And one of them is the common peroneal nerve. Well, if that particular patient, you know, is overweight and there’s a lot of adipose tissue in their legs, if they have edema, you know, it may be difficult for us.
to actually gain access to touch that nerve where we typically want to touch it, which is at the top of the fibular head behind the knee. That’s okay. We can get that same nerve down on the foot. And so as long as we’re getting on that nerve, we’re able to treat that nerve. And it’s interesting because the moment we locate the appropriate nerve, most of the time, depending which nerve it is, we’re actually going to see a motor response.
If we’re treating somebody with carpal tunnel, there’s three nerves that we treat. We treat the median nerve, the instant we put the probe on the median nerve, we expect to see a motor response like this with all of their digits. We treat three minutes on the median nerve. Then we slide over to the ulnar.
We expect to see the pinky and the ring finger get involved. Three minutes on the ulnar. Then we slide over to the radial nerve. We expect to see the thumb get involved treatment for carpal tunnel typically is two treatments, sometimes three treatments. We do make sure that the patient understands the fact that you know what, if you’re doing an activity that’s causing the problem, if you continue to do the same activity the same way.
You may very well recreate the problem, but you can resolve it, but so there’s bottom line is there’s so many different conditions that you guys are able to treat very easily, very effectively, and your patients thrive. Because especially that diabetic peripheral neuropathy population for years, they’ve been told by their primary, by their endocrinologist, by their neurologist.
Sorry, Betty, there’s nothing we can do. So we’ll put you on Gabapentin or Lyrica or Cymbalta, which obviously most of the time they hate being on those medications. But bottom line is those aren’t doing anything at all to help resolve The underlying issue. So the one thing I tell I try to tell all of.
The DCs out there. I, and we deal with a lot of PTs as well. I go, you know what? You’re not the clinician that’s in charge of managing their diabetes, but it behooves you to make sure they have somebody who is, because as great as our treatment is going to be in helping to improve motor function, give them sensation back, reduce their pain, reduce their pain.
If their diabetes is unchecked, they are continuing to cause the problem. So, our program consists of, we’ve got a great supplement program along with the treatment, and I know a lot of your clients, there’s only so many hours in the day, and a lot of them, they want to really strive to work smarter.
instead of harder. And a lot of them are looking for ways to capitalize on the patient population that they have. Some of them do want new patient flow. I mean, obviously everybody wants to have a successful practice. Sometimes it’s right under your nose. You already have those patients. If you can be more efficient treating those patients, you can actually be more successful for those patients.
So two ways we treat diabetic peripheral neuropathy. One way is they do come into the office twice a week for six to eight weeks. The second way is what we call our at home program. A lot of doctors love the at home program because A, it works even better for the patient, number one. Number two, it minimizes the amount of office time and staff that’s involved.
And quite simply the way that program works, they come in for their initial visit. You locate the three locations on each leg, because typically diabetic peripheral neuropathy is going to be bilateral. And you literally take a sharpie and you draw a little circle on those three locations. The patient holds the stylus, so you’re not standing there for five minutes.
holding the stim pod on each of these six locations. The patient is holding the stylus. The reason you draw those six circles, the patient is going to take the device home with them. The instruction for the patient is, Betty, I want you to do every other day, five minutes her location on the legs. And we haven’t talked about vagal stem.
Vagal stimulation is incredibly significant for almost everybody. In particular, people who are in pain, people who have Diabetic neuropathy, people that had CRPS, fibromyalgia, all of your chronic pain patients. We’ve got a multitude of studies and data that we can forward to you talking about the significance of vagal stim.
And going to Bagel Stem for a minute, last time at Superconference, uh, Sherrick with ResiMax was at the booth right next to us. And of course, you know, the Resi is an amazing little product as well. We kind of collaborated and figured out, he figured out, not me, he figured out that you know what? If you use StemPod in conjunction with the ResiMax, whether it’s the mini or the regular unit, You’re getting an even bigger, better effect.
And so, because again, Vagal Stem can help so many of your patients. The way we do Vagal Stem, left ear, what’s called the Simba Concha. So right here, on the left ear, that’s where patient Betty, who now has the unit at home. The instruction for her, Betty. Every morning for 10 minutes when you wake up, make those 10 minutes just about you.
No TV, no texting, just super relaxed. Breathe in through your nose, out through your mouth, and do 10 minutes of vagal stimulation in the morning, 10 minutes of vagal stimulation at night. Combine that with the StimPod and the outcomes are just phenomenal for these patients. Beautiful, beautiful. Well, listen, we know the vagus is the most important healing nerve in the entire body, connecting the brain to the heart, to the gut, to almost everything.
Um, so anytime we can improve vagal efficiency, we’re going to get faster healings, more complete healings. And the other comment that I want to make on, on what you shared, Stan, which is just absolutely beautiful and very important is, you know, Chiropractic is basically for over 120 years been centered around what we call the subluxation.
And if we really kind of boil the subluxation down this two parts, there’s a bone at a place and there’s a neurological disturbance. And my pet peeve is for 120 plus years, we’ve probably focused 95 percent of our time on the bone at a place. And I believe we need to focus 95 percent of our time on the neurological disturbance.
That’s the hardware software issue that you brought up. And that’s why technology like the STIMPOD is just the next generation of getting even better, even faster. And even longer lasting healings, not just relief of pain, but actual healings. And this is something, in my opinion, that every doctor of chiropractic, no matter where they went to school, no matter where they practice, no matter what their beliefs or philosophy is, it could be a huge.
Assistant inside your practice to get again better, faster, longer lasting improvement and healing. And that ultimately is what it’s all about. Any parting comments, Dan, you know, we’ve got great financing available and perhaps most important of all training. You know, for those of you who did come by the booth at SuperConference, uh, we’ve got a, he’s a chiropractor from New Jersey who has more clinical experience with StimPod than anybody in the world.
He’s been using it for the past almost four years now. on average, he’s seeing 40 to 50 patients per day. So literally they’re lined up and he’s got obviously multiple units. He’s got home rental units. He’ll have three or four people in the office at any given point in time because they’re doing the treatment.
He’s there to monitor to adjust the level. So we get Dr. Collins on a zoom. You know, with you, he will get you acclimated to the device. He’ll say, okay, great. You know, think of some of your patients. What are some of the conditions you want to understand how to treat? He will step them through it. He’s available after the zoom for ongoing support.
And he really encourages, we were on with a couple of your Doctors yesterday, as a matter of fact, helping with a couple of conditions that they hadn’t, you know, treated previously. And so, we’re there to provide the support, you know, for you guys. If people watching this who are awake and conscious and caring and they want to find out more or to purchase one or to lease one or whatever it is, how do they get in touch with you, Stan?
Yeah, our website is that I’m sure you’ll put on the screen here is going to be www.SeeStimpodInAction.info And that way you can see it, you know, for yourself. We love working, you know, with your doctors because they understand what the purpose is for them to be in practice and devices like Stimpod can really help them do what they want to do for their patients.
And so that’s why, that’s why I’m so glad that I found out about it and that I’ve been involved in it because it’s really helping people and I get those calls all the time of people just saying thank you for telling me about this. So yeah, we love what we do. Thank you, Stan. Always appreciate it. I look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks and thank you for sharing this really important and timely information.
Have yourself a great day. You too. Thanks, Bob.
